I run 13 AI agents on a Mac Mini. They handle my podcast, YouTube, newsletter, social media, and sponsor outreach. Skills are the reason that setup works. Here's every skill worth your time in 2026, organized so you can find exactly what you need without scrolling through a wall of text.
What's in this guide
Before You Install Anything
In February 2026, Koi Security audited 2,857 ClawHub skills and found 341 actively malicious ones. A coordinated campaign called "ClawHavoc" planted 335 of them. The payloads waited 24 to 48 hours before activating, so you'd never connect the install to the infection.
ClawHub removed 2,419 suspicious skills overnight and now partners with VirusTotal for scanning. The registry has grown back to 10,000+. It's better. But "better" is not "bulletproof."
My rules:
- Prefer bundled skills. The 53 that ship with OpenClaw have zero risk. Start here.
- Check the author. Skills by @steipete (OpenClaw's creator) are essentially first-party. Look for established publishers with multiple skills and version history.
- Read the SKILL.md. Takes 30 seconds. If it asks for permissions that don't match its description, skip it.
- Stars and downloads matter. A skill with 20K downloads and 200 stars has been battle-tested. A skill with 3 downloads from a week-old account is a red flag.
- Install Skill Vetter first. 3.5K downloads. It scans skills for red flags before and after installation.
Warning: Skills run on your machine with your permissions. A bad skill can access your files, API keys, and messages. Treat third-party skills like third-party code. Because that's exactly what they are.
For a deeper dive on skill security, I wrote a full guide on how ClawHub works and how to stay safe.
Top 10 Skills (Overall)
These are the skills I'd install on any fresh OpenClaw setup. They cover 80% of what most people need. Ranked by a combination of download count, community trust, and how often I actually use them.
gog Google Workspace
33.8K
Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Contacts in one skill. The single most powerful skill on the platform. "Send the Q3 report to Sarah and schedule a follow-up for Thursday at 2pm." One sentence. Two Google services. Done.
clawhub install gogself-improving-agent
32K ★338
Highest-starred skill on ClawHub. Logs errors, learnings, and preferences into structured memory files. Your agent actually gets smarter over time. Correct a mistake once, it remembers forever. 12 versions, actively maintained.
clawhub install self-improving-agenttavily-search Tavily Web Search
28K
AI-optimized web search that returns cleaner, more structured results than raw Google. Generous free tier. The community's go-to search skill for research, fact-checking, and pulling live data.
clawhub install tavily-searchontology Knowledge Graph
27.6K
Typed knowledge graph for structured memory. Where self-improving-agent stores text, Ontology stores relationships. "This contact works at that company which is a client on this project." The agent traverses those connections later.
clawhub install ontologysummarize
26.1K
Feed it a URL, PDF, audio file, or YouTube video. Get a clean summary back. I use this daily for podcast guest research. "Summarize this 45-minute YouTube video" saves you 44 minutes.
clawhub install summarizegithub
24.8K
Full GitHub CLI integration. Repos, issues, PRs, CI runs, code search. My ops agent watches all repos and alerts me when CI fails. If you work with code at all, this is foundational.
clawhub install githubweather
21.1K
No API key. No setup. Just works. Sounds basic, but combined with other skills for a morning briefing ("weather, calendar, urgent emails") it earns its place. I live in Bali. I check this every morning.
clawhub install weathernotion
13.9K
Full Notion API. Pages, databases, blocks. Every agent in my setup pushes deliverables to Notion: newsletter drafts, research briefs, content calendars. If Notion is your second brain, this connects it to your first.
clawhub install notionnano-banana-pro Image Gen
13.4K
Generate and edit images with Gemini 3 Pro. Text-to-image and image-to-image. Supports 1K, 2K, and 4K output. I use it for blog headers, thumbnail concepts, and social content mockups.
clawhub install nano-banana-proobsidian
12.4K
Local-first, plain Markdown, no cloud dependency. Searches your Obsidian vault, creates notes, links between them. The privacy-conscious alternative to Notion. If your notes never leave your machine, this is the one.

clawhub install 1passwordMy Actual Stack (13 Agents)
I run 13 AI agents on a single Mac Mini. Each agent has its own workspace with specialized skills. Here's the reality of what powers a multi-agent content operation:
- gog for all email and calendar operations across every agent
- notion as the delivery layer. Every agent pushes deliverables to Notion. Newsletter drafts, research briefs, content calendars, sponsor targets. If it doesn't end up in Notion, it didn't happen.
- summarize for guest research. Every potential podcast guest gets their YouTube channel and content summarized before outreach.
- github for my ops agent to monitor all repos, CI status, and deployments.
- weather in morning briefings. I live in Bali. Rain at 2pm changes my whole day.
- nano-banana-pro for thumbnail concepts and blog graphics.
- apple-reminders as a quick-capture layer. Text my agent on Telegram, it creates a reminder that hits my phone.
- Custom skills for everything else. Content repurposing, sponsor prospecting, SEO article generation, newsletter templates. These are skills I built for my specific workflows.
I teach how to build all of this inside OpenClaw Lab. The exact SKILL.md files, the agent SOPs, the cron schedules. Everything.
How to Install Skills
Three steps. Takes under a minute.
- Install the ClawHub CLI (one time):
npm i -g clawhub
- Install any skill:
clawhub install gog
clawhub install summarize
clawhub install github
- Restart your OpenClaw session. New skills load on session start.
To update everything at once:
clawhub update --all
Tip: Skills install to ./skills by default. For shared skills across multiple agents, install to ~/.openclaw/skills instead.
