13 AI agents running a podcast business on a Mac Mini
Florian Darroman hosts the Profitable Founder podcast. Instead of hiring, he built 13 specialized AI agents on a single Mac Mini M4, each with a name, role, and dedicated SOP file. They handle everything from X posts to sponsor research while he sleeps.
What Each Agent Does
- Dan: X/Twitter growth. Posts 3x daily via Typefully API, monitors engagement
- Jimmy: YouTube optimization. Titles, thumbnails, descriptions, SEO tags
- Tyler: Newsletter writer. Drafts weekly issues for Beehiiv
- Mona Lisa: Sponsorship research. Finds prospects, drafts outreach DMs
- Bob: Operations dispatcher. Routes tasks to the right agent
- Loop: Analytics across all platforms
- Claude: Copy editor. Final review before publishing
How He Built It
All agents run on OpenClaw on a Mac Mini M4 ($600 from Costco). Each agent has its own SOP file in a /sops directory defining responsibilities, hard rules, tools, cron schedules, and handoff protocols. Agents share a workspace with file-based memory (daily markdown logs + curated MEMORY.md). Communication happens through sub-agent spawning and Telegram. Cron jobs fire overnight so Florian wakes up to completed deliverables in Notion.
Tools connected: Typefully (X scheduling), GitHub, Notion API, Beehiiv API, Brave Search, browser automation, and Vercel webhooks for the blog.
I have 13 AI employees. They work 24/7 on a $600 Mac Mini.
